About Ivan Rodriguez Gelfenstein

Based in Miami, Ivan Rodriguez Gelfenstein spent nearly two decades as a public- and private-sector orthodontist in both Mexico and Venezuela. At the time of his retirement in 2012, he practiced orthodontics at a clinic in the Tamanaco City Shopping Center, in the Undamo clinic in Los Chaguaramos, and with the La Oral Sis Clinic in the Terras Plaza Shopping Center, all in Venezuela. Ivan Rodriguez Gelfenstein held a variety of roles over the course of his career, including time as a general dentist with IPASME, an institution overseen by the Ministry of Education in San Juan de los Morros, Venezuela. He became a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists in 1998.

A former member of the Venezuelan Society of Orthodontics, Mr. Gelfenstein studied dentistry at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, graduating in 1992. He continued his education at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas in Mexico, achieving a master’s in orthodontics. Beyond his work in dentistry, his personal interests include swimming at the beach and playing team sports, such as soccer and basketball.
